Self-clinching studs are installed by placing them in proper; Y sized holes in sheet metal and plate and applying a parallel squeezing force to the head of the stud. It efficiently anchors itself to the sheet metal by swaging the surrounding material into its serrated feature to prevent itself from rotating after installation.

Self-clinching Studs is available in customized specs (materials, finish, hardness, etc.) accordingly.
